- 12 slices of dried Home Pride Split Top Wheat Bread (yellow bag)
- Handful of cornmeal
- 1 eggs
- 3 stocks of celery and their leaves chopped
- 1/2 stick of melted butter
- salt, pepper, and dried sage (home grown is best) to taste
Wet the bread with warm water and gently pull apart the bread, but not too much, keep the pieces big. Gently mix in the remaining ingredients. Stuff in turkey or chicken cavities. If you do not stuff moisten the bread with chicken broth for flavor and bake in a pan at 350 degrees until done but still moist.
